1. What this is
Green Bubble Check is a free, information-only website. It provides a diagnostic tool that predicts, from details you supply, how a text message between two phones is likely to be carried and what features survive the trip. It is not a messaging service, it does not send or receive messages, and it has no access to your messages, your accounts or your phone.
There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to buy. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the site.
2. Accuracy — what we do, and where it stops
We verify every version-dependent fact on this site against primary sources and publish the date we last checked it. Software and carrier behaviour still change without notice. Use this as a starting point, then confirm on your own device — every result page tells you how.
That verification pass is not finished yet. Of the 27 version-dependent facts behind this site, 15 has been confirmed at the source so far. The rest are shown to you with an unverified marker wherever they appear, and 2 are questions we have declined to answer at all. We are telling you this in the terms rather than only in the small print, because a site whose selling point is accuracy should not overstate how far along its own checking is.
That is a real commitment rather than a formula, so here is what stands behind it. Every factual claim that could go out of date is stored as a single entry in one table, with its own confidence level, its own primary source and its own date. Where an entry has not yet been confirmed at the source, the site marks it visibly instead of stating it as settled. Where we genuinely do not know something, we say so and show you both possibilities rather than picking the likely one. Our about page describes the process, and our update log records every correction we make.
What we cannot do is guarantee that a fact was still true at the moment you read it. Carriers change provisioning without announcing it. Software updates change behaviour and settings paths. A rollout that is complete in one region may not have started in another. So this site tells you what is likely and how to check; the device in your hand is the authority, and every result page ends with the steps to ask it.
Nothing here is legal, security or professional advice. If the confidentiality of a specific conversation genuinely matters — legally, medically, or for your safety — do not rely on a prediction from this or any website. Use a messaging app that is end-to-end encrypted by default on every platform, and verify it on the device.
3. Copyright and quoting us
The text, structure, comparison tables and diagnostic logic on this site are our copyright. You may read, print and share the pages for your own use.
You are welcome to quote our tables and findings in an article, forum post, video or documentation, including a reasonable extract, provided you credit Green Bubble Check and link to the page you took it from. We ask for the link rather than just the name because these facts change, and a link lets your reader reach the corrected version.
What is not permitted is republishing our pages wholesale, scraping the site to build a competing resource, or presenting our comparison data as your own research. Automated bulk collection is not permitted.
4. Trademarks
Apple, iMessage and iPhone are trademarks of Apple Inc. Google, Android and Google Messages are trademarks of Google LLC. Samsung is a trademark of Samsung Electronics. RCS is an industry specification maintained by the GSMA. This site is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of them.
Company and product names appear on this site only where naming them is necessary to describe how messaging actually works. We do not use their logos, icons or brand colours, and nothing here should be read as an official statement from any of them. If you are looking for official documentation, the company's own support site is the right place, and we link to it where we cite it.
5. External links
We link out to primary sources and, occasionally, to other useful pages — though as of today the verification pass that produces those citations is still in progress, so there are almost none on the site yet. We do not control those sites, are not responsible for their content, and a link is not an endorsement. Linking to a document as evidence for a claim is exactly what it looks like: a citation.
6. Advertising
This site does not currently carry any advertising. We intend to support it with advertising, and when we do, the ads will be clearly labelled and kept out of the diagnostic form and the result card so that they cannot interfere with the tool. We will not control the content of individual ads. How advertising will affect your data is set out in our privacy policy, which is written from the same configuration as this clause — so the two cannot end up saying different things.
7. Availability
The site is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, and we do not promise it will be available without interruption. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, this site.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Nothing in these terms limits any statutory right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and material changes are noted in the update log.
